Catcher in the Rye

We had several options for what to do for our book report. I decided to do a comic. My teacher has the final version and I forgot to ask her for it back. It took forever to do because my brother was the model for Holden and refused to cooperate. (btw, if you like any of the poses a lot, ask and i'll upload the ref in my stock art account.) What I like best is that Jane actually appears. Her never actually appearing in the book was a reason I got annoyed with Holden. But anyway, this is the lineart and caption-less version. Sorry.

It begins with Maurice (a elevator operator/pimp) punching Holden, who thinks he can't breathe, and begins to go to the bathroom. His imagination then runs wild and makes up the rest of the comic. Due to their being no depth from lack of shading, in panel 19, he's wiping the gun, 20 he is tossing it down the elevator. 25 she's bandaging him.

I really do draw too small. And the panels are too similar. Jane's entrance, along with Holden emergence from the bathroom, along with some other panels should've been bigger and more dynamic.
