Description
This is what I had tried to do for the Fragmented assignment, but my brother's printer was so dark i couldn't trace anything with my lightbox. I decided to try it again as a free sketch.
This is definately different from any other work. Usually I try to make the model look as good as possible and will be embarrassed to show anything not aesthetically-pleasing. Wet, messed-up hair, MCR-esque eye makeup, torn shirt, Alka-Seltzer-stimulated spittle... yeah, totally not going for beauty here.
I probably need to darken this entire picture so it better resmebled the original picture.
Done in charcoal for my sketchbook, which has the theme Darkness.

I love this one. It has a rather strong expression.
I also like the idea that you didn't aim for beauty - once you get rid of the will to make thing "beautiful" you leave more room for real expression. that's at least what I think...
